One-day interactive workshop
Do you ever feel apprehensive about raising a concern or problem with someone, but know that it will only get worse if you don't?
And do you know how to resolve conflict that has already set in? Can you deal calmly with difficult people, and manage your own emotions as well as theirs? Can you find an outcome that will satisfy everyone?
This one-day workshop will equip you with powerful, practical strategies for resolving workplace conflicts (and tiffs at home too!). Learn how to turn challenging conversations with difficult people into a foundation for improved relationships, enhanced morale and increased productivity.
Applying a powerful communication approach developed at Harvard University, this one-day workshop will equip you to:
recognise conflict early and understand what's driving others' behaviour;
improve your confidence, internal balance and ability to respond constructively in the face of strong emotion;
start sensitive conversations in ways that invite open and constructive dialogue;
design and conduct a process for effectively resolving conflict that also creates a real opportunity to store and build working relationships;
communicate skillfully to avoid misunderstanding and defuse high emotion
maximise the impact and persuasiveness of your own perspective;
choose wisely among the range of common dispute resolution methods; and
create mutually satisfying outcomes through collaborative 'problem solving'.
