Driving change

When our clients talk with us about training, it’s usually because they’re looking to achieve something for the longer term. It might be realising a strategic vision, or it might be overcoming an operational challenge.

It’s essential that a training program engage, enlighten and inspire participants. Workshops have to be designed with this in mind, and the content has to be right.

But none of these things is enough to drive lasting change.

This is where CMA really comes into its own. We help our clients to change the way they do things for the long term - not just the individuals, but entire teams and organisations. And this meas we are committed to going well beyond designing and delivering great training programs. We design solutions for enduring capability.

A strategy for delivering results

Almost two decades working across multiple industries and organisations within Australasia, have taught us that embedding new behaviours over the long-term requires a systematic culture change strategy. CMA’s Driving Change™ model is based on three key phases:

  • a diagnostic phase;
  • a mindset and skills development phase; and
  • a systems change phase.

Here’s a broad overview:

How CMA is Driving Change

CMA’s Driving ChangeTM model provides us with a powerful framework to design a program that is tailored to your organisation’s needs and objectives, and focused on change. We can work closely with you and other key stakeholders in your organisation to:

  • Establish a clear picture of your objectives, and to develop an intimate understanding of the obstacles to change
  • Gain stakeholder buy-in to the program’s objectives
  • Ensure alignment between intended behaviours and organisational systems
  • Incorporate steps in the program to reinforce and refine concepts and skills learned in our workshops for the longer term
  • Equip managers to coach others in the program’s key skills
  • Monitor and track changes in behaviour and results flowing on from a program

Let's talk

If organisations don’t take active steps to ensure long-term change, they place their investment at serious risk. That’s the bad news. But here’s the good news: the flipside is also true. Organisations that take the steps necessary to engender change can realise the full benefit of skills development – and in a way that creates real competitive advantage… for the long term.

We’re passionate about Driving Change, and would welcome the chance to talk with you about how your organisation can achieve greater return on its learning and development investment.
