Our Leadership Training Philosophy
Leadership is an extremely broad field. Ask 10 leaders what leadership means to them, and you’ll probably get 10 different answers.
An effective leader needs a broad range of skills that includes negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution. So CMA doesn’t run ‘leadership training’ programs. Instead, we run programs on negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution– that are customised for leadership skills development.
What does this mean?
- We run more challenging, experiential programs for leaders so that they can stretch themselves beyond their comfort zones.
- We offer more opportunities for leaders to share experiences and ideas with each other, to enhance the learning experience and transferability to ‘real-life’.
- We contextualise the content for leaders. For example, our influencing programs for leaders recognise their authority (or positional power) and explores how and when to use it – or what to use instead. Our conflict resolution programs for leaders tend to focus on people management issues and performance related conversations.
